Item Description:

Raphael belongs to my line of round critters - a series of cute animal mascots with spherical bodies, large feet and utterly adorable faces. This plush stands about 10 cm tall (almost 14 cm with its tail) and will sit perfectly in the palm of your hand. Fluffy fur, unruly whiskers and pointy cat ears add to this plush's overall cuteness factor.

Raphael's looks are inspired by the Ragdoll, a semi-longhaired breed of cats that is famous for its blue eyes and tendensy to go entierly limp when picked up. Raphael is a bicolor Ragdoll. He is made from various shades of faux fur and minky and features sewn in markings. Raphael has a cute oval shaped face with beautiful blue eyes, a triangular shaped pink nose at its center and a whole bunch of whiskers to its sides. The face itself is dark brown with a wedge shaped patch of white that covers most of the lower part. Long white fur outlines Raphael's face and dark brown ears, before continuing halfway down his back, where it changes from white to light brown. He has four white paws that are firmly attached to his belly and a s-shaped, dark brown tail.

Materials, production and dispatch:

This plush will be made in an environment free of cigarette smoke and perfume, but not entirely pet free as I have a cat.

The body and tail will be made from three shades of regular quality faux fur with a pile length of 15 mm. Minky with a pile length of 3 mm is to be used for the face, paws and ears. The inside of the ears will be made from faux suede, a material resembling brushed leather. This plush will be fitted with plastic safety eyes and nose that measure 12 mm across and are fastened with washers. The body will be stuffed with polyester filling. Fishing line will be used for the whiskers.

Usually I'm able to finish a plush like this within 3 days upon receiving the order, but I may need longer, depending on how busy I am at the time of the order. Once finished the plush will be shipped within 2 workdays.


Usage:

This plush is best used as an ornamental piece for indoors decoration purposes. It is not suitable as a toy and should be kept away from young children and pets at all times. It can be used for play with older children if handled gently. Keep in mind though, that this is an artist doll. It is a work of art and not a toy. The plush can't be washed if it gets dirty and may easily get damaged.
