Meet Merlin the Mountain Hoot!
This incredibly fluffy owl plushie sits about 13 cm tall and is made from one of my more unusual faux furs. Merlin has a fuzzy black face with beautiful crimson eyes and a dark beak nested in its center. His entire body is covered by thick and slightly coarse grey fur with orange tips and black guard hairs.
This plushie will be made in an environment free of cigarette smoke and perfume, but not entirely pet free as I have cats.
Both body and belly will be made from slightly coarse faux fur, with a mixed pile length, ranging from 4 cm up to 6,5 cm. The face will be made from regular quality faux fur with a pile length of 14 mm, which will be trimmed slightly around the beak and eyes. These lengths, combined with the small body size, make for an extra fluffy owl. The beak will be made from synthetic suede, a fabric resembling brushed leather. The eyes are plastic safety eyes and measure 14 mm across. Merlin's body will be stuffed with fabric scraps and polyester filling.
Usually I'm able to finish a plushie like this within a few days of receiving the order, but I may need longer, depending on how busy I am at the time of the order. Once finished the plushie will be shipped within 2-3 workdays.
